Supporting Communities Impacted by the Government Shutdown

This page is being updated in real-time as we gather information from partners on the ground.
If you have immediate questions, reach out to contact@sharingexcess.com

If you're in need of food assistance, Sharing Excess and our dedicated community partners are working across the country to make free food readily available. Below are public distribution sites that we are supplying with fresh food.

Interested in supporting our work during this crisis? We’re asking generous individuals to sponsor truckloads of food. Your contribution helps us transport fresh food through our network and serve families in need. Each truckload costs roughly $1,290 to dispatch and provides enough food to feed up to 80 families for a month.
