Help Us Feed Communities during the Government Shutdown
Sharing Excess is working with our partner network to make free food available at locations across the country. We're working hard to add locations each day, and will keep information updated here as it becomes available.
If you are interested in supporting our work during this crisis, we’re asking generous individuals to sponsor truckloads of food to be delivered to food distribution sites. Right now, one full truckload costs us about $1,290, and every truck means thousands of meals for people who might otherwise go without.
Looking for fresh, free groceries near you? We partner with local organizations and businesses to bring rescued produce directly to the community - no sign-up or ID required!

All events are free and open to the public. Food is first come, first serve. Note: Events may occasionally be canceled due to inclement weather - please check the calendar on the day of; if an event is no longer listed, it will not be taking place.
While many resources are available, we recommend our partner Lemontree for finding available pantries and food centers in an array of American cities.
